Real2Reel Tonight

I know I haven’t written here in a week. I have just been thinking. Allot of which the lack of respect there is for God’s house and its things. Teens feel as though they can do whatever they want. It breaks my heart to think of their careless attitudes. This is bad especially since we will be embarking in a journey this summer to Ocean City for Missions and Ministry.

If they can’t respect God’s house and sit through a half hour message from me, how on earth will they withstand 4 hours or more in half a day in OC? Will they respect the place that we stay? Will I constantly have to remind them to put their cell phone away? Are they more worried what’s on the digital device then where their soul will be when they die? Has God been replaced by something other than his word? Maybe its just being a teen?

Well I’m sorry I’m not making excuses for teens any more. It’s time to be Real! Being real means dealing with things that aren’t pleasant. That doesn’t make us feel good all the time. Being Real means we have to face and do things we might not ordinarily like or want to deal with. Passing notes at youth means more than taking notes and gaining eternal value from them.

If you want to be real. If you want to truly grow in God. Turn off the cell phones, and put on listening ears and see what God has for you. Be Real. Be Real2Reel!

Real2Reel Youth Tonight

Tonight is Real2Reel Youth at Shiloh Ministries. If you can’t come out join us via the “Live” page, as all services are streamed live. Tonight we are going to talk about what I’ve deemed “The J Files” I’ve put together a little video that talks about what its like from a non Christian perspective.

I want to give the teens the opportunity to be able to possibly see Christianity through a different perspective. A lot of times we take for granted the things that seem so basic. But in reality they are the furthest things from our minds. Tonight’s teaching will be centered around:

Matthew 7:7-8 (New International Version)
Ask, Seek, Knock
7″Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

These are the 3 key things that every Christian needs to know to help the lost and then:

Matthew 6:33 (New International Version)
33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

See you all tonight, Be blessed!
